Enable technicians to remote into clients computers with PHW

Post by J1132S »

We are a small IT support company and we need to remote into different users computer. We were recommended to use PHW and had no problem getting it work among our own. When we try to go outside the network we seemed to have a problem. Can someone give us step 2 step on how to post a link from the website and have the users click on that link in which we can view their computers.

Have you opened ports 5500 & 5900 ? If not check out portforward.com for your specific routers instructions and how to open ports.

Are you using a direct connection or via a repeater? Have you set up your own repeater or are you using an existing repeater?

Check out [topic=8898][/topic] for a step by step guide on setting up pchelpware.

Are you really an IT support company? If so, then you should really know how to create a link on a website!

Let me rephrase the question. When they click on pchelpware is still doesnt connect to the our systems for us to remote into them. Yes we have a link, but we figured we are doing something wrong. Yes port 5500 and 5900 are open.
