John,
Good to see you back here.
Look forward to making more progress on your great little tool... but it already is real neat and does the job very well.
If you need something specific testing then give me a shout....
Mike

It seams a shame that we are each making basically the same thing, but seperately. perhaps you would consider rolling some of your code into scprompt ???JohnMC wrote:ive been away from this project for to long
it now has 5different GUI's, service mode options (uses existing uvnc services if found, or makes its own), & much more ...
there are also 3 coders contributing, other than me ... otherwise I would consider dropping it in favour of yours ...
it just seams a waste that we are working in parrallel, when working together would make much more sense ... and make a better app
something for you to think about before you get "snowed-in" & have time to start coding again ...

Hey John,
haven't heard from you in a while, just wondering how the project is going and if we can look forward to some updates?

First let me say that this is an awsome software mate, works wonderful and it's one of the simplest and most powerful solutions
second I would like to ask you about the picture option in the "embed" function, I didn't see that it did anything, I tried both jpg and gif files and it's still wouldn't load when you start the program, is this feature working or is it just for future updates ?
third I would like to ask about the source code, I downloaded it and tried to build it "as is" before doing any changes and I got 3 errors :
C:\Users\Test\Desktop\UVNC-Helper-SRC-3.1.5.0\_APTGet.au3(165,46) : ERROR: undefined macro.
Local $Read=@InetGetBytesRead ;AUT 3.3.0.0
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^
C:\Users\Test\Desktop\UVNC-Helper-SRC-3.1.5.0\_APTGet.au3(175,24) : ERROR: undefined macro.
If @InetGetBytesRead =
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^
C:\Users\Test\Desktop\UVNC-Helper-SRC-3.1.5.0\UVNC-Helper.au3(160,32) : ERROR: AdlibEnable(): undefined function.
AdlibEnable( "adlib_master",750)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^
C:\Users\Test\Desktop\UVNC-Helper-SRC-3.1.5.0\UVNC-Helper.au3 - 3 error(s), 0 warning(s)
any idea why ?
sry for the late relpy, ive been moving, and i plan to make some major improvments to this project as soon as im done..
thank you for the positive feed and to answer your question, yes, it only operates for reverse connections right now, soon i hope to change that and even include some nat2nat functionality.
so to get it to work, just run your viewer in listen mode, and make sure you have the ports forwarded/ your firewall open, then use my program on the remote pc
