Windows 7 Home Premium - Strange Problem

Post by toanders »

I installed UltraVNC as a service on Windows 7 Home Premium with all of the defaults except loopback is enabled. Windows Firewall is disabled so that shouldn't be an issue. Client is installed on an XP pro laptop. The client connection timed out. I tried loopback on the host and it worked fine. Tried the laptop client again and it worked, for a while. After a while the connection dropped and I couldn't re-establish it. Ran loopback, and then the laptop could connect, for a while. This happens consistently. What am I doing wrong?
