I read with some interest that (at least version 1.0.6) of UltraVNC's driver supported creation of a virtual display larger than the actual display (which, I believe, is normally set up where a VNC client's monitor acts as an additional virtual monitor on the server). This method could potentially be useful in a project I'm poking around with.
However, I was unable to find the source code for the driver. It seems that at one point, at least setupdrv (which I understand to only be the installation code for the driver) was present in UltraVNC's CVS repository; now even it is no longer present.
Then I realized that I'm not even sure that the driver is GPLed -- I simply assumed that it was since UltraVNC is. I'm not even sure if the author of the driver is one of the UltraVNC authors -- there doesn't seem to be an AUTHORS file or similar documentation attached to the driver distribution at http://ftp.erm.tu-cottbus.de/ultravnc/Driver19/.
Can any of the UltraVNC folks tell me what license the driver is released under, and if it is GPL, where I might be able to obtain source for the driver to peruse?
