Problem with viewer in full-screen mode

Post by helloworld.c »

Computers:
(1) SERVER WinXPpro SP3 desktop dual-monitor at 1280x1024 each
(2) CLIENT Windows 7 notebook with internal panel at 1280x800

(1) is running UVNC 1.0.8.2 as a service. When I connect from (2) with UVNC Viewer 1.0.2 I have no problems whatsoever. However, when using the viewer v1.0.8.2 in full-screen mode there are two major problems:

- the panning over the server desktop when moving the mouse to the border of the client window is jerky and not smooth. It also doesn't go continuously into the direction the mouse is moved (e.g. right) but stops and then needs mouse movements orthogonal to the direction (e.g. up/down) to continue.

- when panning to the bottom, the lowest pixels cannot be reached. I have an auto-hide taskbar on the server which means I cannot unhide it and access the start menu.

As far as I can see the setting the two versions of the viewer use are the same. For now I'll just use the old viewer, but any suggestions are welcome so that I can hopefully retire it.

Cheers,
Chris

do you use config file for connect to remote ?
or you start vncviewer manually and then connect to remote ?

from vncviewer.... delete saved settings... close vncviewer
open vncviewer and try again to connect to remote
