Hello,
I am connected remotely via VPN (windows built in VPN connection) and using version 1.0.8.2 to connect to a PC running 1.0.6.5.
I can remote control the remote PC and also recieve files but every time I try to send file (e.g. 300kb), I see 2-3 blue bars filled in the progress bar, then few seconds nothing and then a crash: "runtime error ! program ....vncviewer.exe. This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact...".
When I tested a smaller file, it managed to send it in whole ( i saw the "transfter complete" but again, few seconds nothing and then the same crash.
On the viewer side I am using quick options "manual" and in "options" I selected "auto select best settings". No other special settings. The server runns as a service and defined with no special configuration (default installation).
File names appears on the remote machine (like the file was created) but the size is 0 (both for the smaller file that looked like it was transferred but it didn't: it size is 0 and also for the bigger one - 300k+-).
The same behavior when working with version 1.0.6.5 on both server and viewer.
Thank you,
Omer.

Re: 1.0.8.2: crash with file transfer
Hello Redge,
Thank yu for your reply.
Yes, I did use "medium". I saw another post about it and tried it but with no luck. It will always fail and crash. The file transfer will crash first, then the viewer is frozen. You have to close it via task manager.
