VNC Issue with Vista and 2008

Hello Team,

we have developed one application which includes the functionality of screen sharing to the remote machines. We used UltraVNC code to develop that functionality. We used the code which was released around(this I am not sure, sorry abt that) the year 2005.

This code is not working for Vista and 2008.
This is the scenario:
1. We are able to launch the VNC screen.
2. If we click on any of the windows from task bar or from anywhere of that machine, the window is appearing(events are reaching) on that machines console, but not reflecting on the VNC's screen share window.
3. Few windows like notepad, cmd and show desktop are working. but remaining other windows are not reflecting on the VNC window.

It is working fine on other Operating Systems except SERVER 2008 and VISTA.

uvnc 1.0.8.2 use schook if available for replace vnchook with vista, better responsive/ and care about security of vista/2008

Okay, let me put the question in more clear.

we are using the same logic which was from the release around the year 2004.

This is the problem we are facing:
I am not recieving messages from the PeekMessage call for VISTA and 2008 Operating systems!! and the same logic is working fine with all the remaining operating systems.

As I mentioned previously, it is working fine when I open notepad or command prompt.

Is that any handles that I m missing? or is that t

does the events and threads are the major changes you made to support vista and 2008, which I found while invoking new service as service_run in the UVNC code?

Please tell me what I am missing.

maybe you just forget enable capture alpha-blending on winvnc admin properties on vista/2008 ? this value is not enabled by default.
restart winvnc or uvnc_service

Do you mean the settings of VNC after installing?

But, I m trying to modify the source code to suit it to my own application requirement.

1. do you run winvnc as application or system service ?
2. if you try running winvnc as ssystem service, as i had wrote you can only use uvnc_1.0.8.2 compatible with security/message of windows vista/2008/7/2008r2, otherwise, not work at all. communication with system service change with the new OS
