Clock updated on Server when connecting across Time Zones

Post by jgminwa »

When I use the viewer to connect to a server, the time is changed on the server to my local TZ. The server TZ then has to be manully reset to the correct local TZ ater the session ends. Both Viewer and Server are running on WinXp Sp3

Server is 1.0.8.0 and in CST and viewer is 1.0.8.2 and on PST. After session ends, both are on PST.

Is this a configuration issue or an expected behavior?

strange, i never see the time clock change on remote after viewer disconnected

known issue:

* switching regional settings
* gadget clock
* firmware update can change the time (1 hour difference on HP server)
* internet time
* daylight time can change the time (winter - summer depend country)

hope this help.
