ServerScale in 1.0.8.2

Post by lawrencealan »

I use VNC files, and ServerScale seemed to break VNCViewer on connection to a non 1.0.8.2 machine... did something change here?

It also crashes when I set the settings manually via the dialog.

Thanks!

at vncviewer,
could you try delete saved settings then close vncviewer and open again and retry connection manually and change the scale

I am also having this problem. Whenever I choose ServerScale in the connection options, it connects to the server and my local viewer displays a blank session window, but then vncviewer.exe crashes displaying windows prompt indicating the app crashed.

I am able to use client side scaling and that works fine.

I tried the suggestion above of deleting the saved settings, exiting, and rerunning the viewer and choosing serverscale, and the problem still happens.

100% reproducable every time.
