UVNC Reconnect on reboot
I am using UVNC 1.0.8.2 and SC Prompt and SC. What I want to know is there any way to have the host reconnect to me after I restart it remotely With out installing UVNC software? I don't mind if it means once I have a customer connect to me with SC Prompt, I might transfer a small file on their computer to run during the reboot and connect back to me.
Re: UVNC Reconnect on reboot
I get around this by utilizing the ultravnc.ini under [admin] :timhowell33 wrote:I am using UVNC 1.0.8.2 and SC Prompt and SC. service_commandline=-autoreconnect ID:4444 -connect REPEATER.IP.HERE
Before you reboot just pass -install to the server executable (admin privs required). When you are done pass -uninstall to remove the service.
NOTE: The example above is for connecting to a repeater, your command line arguments may be different.
If you absolutly can't install anything why don't you create a shortcut in the startup folder that gets your server going again?
Keep in mind that this will only start once the user has logged in.

Hi timhowell33...I have compiled a small utility RAC...dunno if you have tried it, but you can always test it out here ---> http://mariuscomputers.co.za/racfree.ziptimhowell33 wrote:I am using UVNC 1.0.8.2 and SC Prompt and SC. Re: UVNC Reconnect on reboot
Excuse my ignorance, but how do you do this with single click?
Before you reboot just pass -install to the server executable (admin privs required). When you are done pass -uninstall to remove the service.
I keep trying to do this on the SingleClick.exe. It sounds like it may need the server which may be ok. I just need to clarify whats happening.
Thanks!
