Hello,
after upgrading from 1.0.6.5 to 1.0.8.0 I cannot connect with UVNC, after someone else has used the Windows XP/7 builtin RemoteDesktop on the same machine. To be able to connect again there are serveral methods possibel: Restart, Looging off even calling the server properties is enough for being able to reconnect again. As soon as somebody uses Remote Desktop again, UVNC can't connect again.
Many thanks,
Zirbitzkogel

Re: UVNC not working after remote desktop access
When the connection didn't work, did you get the popup for entering the password? If yes, when you entered it, did you get a connection for like one second and then got dropped?

Re: UVNC not working after remote desktop access
The rdp and fast user switching is fixed in 1082 ( prerelease)
Re: UVNC not working after remote desktop access
Same problem. I'm using 1.0.8.2 release and I get "Connection closed by server whenever I try to connect to computer after RDP session. Essentialy, I can't connect when computer is locked. Fast user switching is on.

Re: UVNC not working after remote desktop access
It works now! Although, it's a little weird: it disconnects on switching users or logging into account. I can reconnect after that, though, so no big deal. Is it supposed to be like that?redge wrote:uninstall uvnc 1.0.6.x

Re: UVNC not working after remote desktop access
yes, this a known issue.I can reconnect after that, though, so no big deal. Is it supposed to be like that?
workaround
you can use autoreconnect function from vncviewer ... options... number of times the reconnect is attempted
this allow reconnect to server when server disconnected you after switch user
filename.vnc (file that can be opened by vncviewer)
Reconnect=3

Re: UVNC not working after remote desktop access
Yes, but I use JaaduVNC, there's no such option, I believe. But it's fine, the main thing is that now it works an I can use it along with RDP.redge wrote:yes, this a known issue.I can reconnect after that, though, so no big deal. Is it supposed to be like that?
