Upload OK; but NO DOWNLOAD

Post by EdH »

Hi,

I'm trying to build an SC executable. I upload to REL 1.0 at http://www.uvnc.com/pchelpware/sc/creator.html.

But nothing happens after that.

Where do I download the exe?

Thanks,

Ed

pm name of zip, hard to tell what goes wrong.

usual:
-zip contain folder with files and not files
-icon isn't a icon and fail to add as resource

if creation fails no exe to download.

I finally got it to work.

I didn't realize the userid and passwords HAD to be foo and foobar! I first tried the id and password that I "thought" the user would need to initiate the connection. Then I tried my id for the uvnc website.

I also had omitted the rc4.key from my zip. I thought I had seen that in the instructions. Maybe I was wrong.

Finally, I have high hopes for the usefullness of the SC tool. But the instructions are currently opaque. Can't this be rectified?

I did find some nice instructions at http://www.bevingtontechnologies.com/ww ... bystep.pdf. Couldn't a link to this be included on the website?

Thanks for what I think will be a nice tool!
