32 & 64

Post by Jason Matthew »

Hi there!

I've a question.

I was looking for the last version of UltraVNC, and I found quite versions:

· win32 1.0.8.0 Full

· X64 1.0.8.0 Full

· win32 bins 1.0.8.0 Full

· X64 bins 1.0.8.0 Full

I would like to know what is the version you recommend me. I've a x64 OS. Are these versions totally compatible with all OS (Win XP, WinVista, Win7) ? What is "bins" ?

Other question plz, if you have a lower version (viewer) than an other one who has higher version (server), it's normal to the person who has a lower version see the remote control (desktop or something like this) no very well?

So, there is a difference between that different versions are installed in differents PCs?
I don' know if I explained well.

Thanks beforehand

x64 only for 64-bit operating system
win32 for 32-bit operating system

if you want to know the difference between the name of win32 and x64 is out of topic of uvnc, you can check at wikipedia.org
