I am getting runtime errors and abnormal termination of vnc viewer when I try to transfer a file. I have suddenly noticed though it didn't happen as long as did not I highlight the file from the remote machine before picking folder on local machine to transfer to.
If I did then the send/receive buttons stay greyed out and soon after the runtime error comes up and it aborts.
So pick file receive and from folders first before highlighting what to transfer. Is this a known bug?

Re: Runtime Error with File Transfer
Hi
Even with the file transfer running awhile after I got it finally working, it crashed after awhile before completing and got the same runtime error.
Yes there are 2 seperate buttons and I am using the receive button from remote computer to local computer. As I said before they are both greyed out and error occurs unless I pick local computer receive to drive first.
I am wondering if the problem is related to the remote computer going into screen saver and locking out as it uses the "Welcome Screen" with several logons. When doing this I could not make a connection unless someone local at remote computer logged in again. I have changed the logon procedure to NOT using welcome screen and fast user switching and this helped the connection problem.

like you found.
you can't tranfer file while session switching from user desktop to welcome screen (system) or screen saver
permission.
