Viewer crash on select 2nd monitor of host, mirror drv act

Post by ddcdm »

[moved, crash caused by same]

I just updated to the 1.0.8.0.

I am connecting to a virtual maching running on VMWare 6, using VMWare's built-in VNC capability. It appears that the viewer crashes whenever the video mode changes. For instance, as Linux boots it goes through several video modes, and the viewer crashes or exits on the transitions. I believe my older version (can't remember the exact version) did not have this problem.

I am running the viewer on Win7 RC.

Maybe someone has an idea? Just thought I'd report it, as it is somewhat inconvenient.

Viewer crash on select 2nd monitor of host, mirror drv act

When selecting the second monitor of the host with the "select full desktop/switch monitor(driver only)" button of the viewer, the viewer crashes on W2K and WXP. This happens only when the mirror driver (Version 1.00.22) of the host is active.
