w2000 login driving me nuts

Post by Pinkerton »

Hi all,

Thanks for what is looking to be a great utility. I have installed UltraVNC on my laptop and a remote PC on a 10/100 network.

The viewer works fine on Vista and when I make changes to the Admin Properties all is fine.

However when I go to the remote PC and open the Admin Properties, make a change then click "Apply" I get the windows login and have to type the password. Then when I click "OK" I get the damned windows login again.

I have "Require MS logon" UNchecked but still I have to do the password thing twice.

Where am I going wrong?

Also during install I had "Download mirror drivers" checked and it did not install them. I will fix that manually on the remote.

Thanks

BBD

Thanks for the reply. In w2000 there is no option like that.

I will live with the situation for the time being as I don't have time to play with it. UltraVNC is noticeably better than the other VNC I was using so I will just put up with it for the moment. I have pretty much finished setting it up.

UltraVNC is GREAT software.
