file-transfer function

I already posted this topic 6 weeks ago, but did not receive any answer.

I try to use the file-transfer function of UVNC with a VPN-connection.
The "explorer"-window opens. I can select the source-file and destination-folder. After starting the transfer the progress-bar appears but does not progress. After about 30 seconds a window appears

and the client-window is closing. What can be the reason for that?
We tried the same inhouse (from PC to PC without VPN) and it works fine.
But we need the function over VPN for remote-service with our customers. This problem is only in direction vom client to server. Transferring files from server to client works fine. Deleting files on the server is possible. Only file tranfer is not possible.

I have a similar problem using areca for backup:
Locally the backup works fine, remote the backupprocess aborts because one file is "writeprotected" on the remote destination (!?) - seems to be a problem of my FritzBox.

I didn't read an explicit hint about a fixed problem concerning file-transfer function. Do you just recommend to install the actual version or do you know anything about a fixed fil-transfer problem.

+tight color issue
+close doesn't crash anymore... but not sure it's fixed in all cases.
hard to repeat.
+installer,
download only if server checked, ( no download if silent is checked)
download the corresponding driver fort your os
after download it install the driver
( This need to be tested)

change 1080

* added patches pgmoney (server)
viewonly pasword (like tightvnc)
disable only input on blanking request
* automode fix ( viewer crash)
* autoreconnect and new dsm fix (crash viewer)
* changes location dsm plugins (installer)
* tray icon server popup faster after session change (server)

using repeater + dsm you need to set autoreconnect (viewer)=0
Still looking for the rhe cause but can't find it...

Having similar problem with the file transfer. Has there been any resolve, what are we doing wrong?

Hello, everybody !

I use UltraVNC Viewer 1.2.0.6 (for sure) and UltraVNC Server 1.2.0.6 (I’m not sure for 100% about version )

Is it only possible to connect to UltraVNC Server (on Remote PC) with “File Transfer” Mode and not to open the remote desktop screen (on Remote PC).

So I only want to see the “File Transfer” window on my (local) PC and don’t want to see any other windows of my “UltraVNC Viewer” application.
