Preventing disabling server's input by clients
Preventing disabling server's input by clients
Is there a way to stop connected clients from disabling the server's inputs, as well as preventing the server's screen from being blanked? Thanks!
if you are connecting to someones computer and they do not have administrative privs you can not change the settings in the systray.
So if you connect to Joes computer and he is set up as a regular user not an admin on his machine the person connecting will only have the rights joe has. Which will then disable the ability for the user (Joe) or support tech (Mike) from changing anything, either remotely or while connected to console.
This is in RC_18_5, but test it out on a computer with an account that has no admin rights on the computer.
If each user has admin rights on the computer,
I guess the simplistic way is to hide the systray icon... then unless they know where to go its unlikley that they change any settings.
