No need to blame MS. They call it: "Potentially Unwanted Software" (PUS), not Spyware. And therefore I would like to point out that VNC (not only UVNC) can be potentially used to spy on the user. A skilled user however will easily recognize whether he wants the respective program on his machine or not! It's not for noobs, though.

There are a lot of Potentially unwanted software that I got by default from M$.. Alexia..

Yes and I understand that there are is potential danger for people using VNC/UVNC...Its highly unlikely it will be abused... over the proper use it was intended for.... I think the Devs are trying their best to keep security under control and ensuring only properly authorized people get the program installed, configured and use it.

Ah but where there is a will, I know there is a way..

It runs without problems. You can even tell this MS spyware to not treat VNC as "PUS".

The whole thing has been recently discussed on several security lists. Among them Full-Disclosure. Have a look in the archives there.
