PChelpware client doesn't MD5 encrpyt the same as SC server

Post by Offerlam »

we are using a repeater and for the server side we use the GUI from Datcom...

I have been playing around with the single click GUI but somehow the encryption doesn't work. I think it the MD5 encryption that is not done excatly the same as the PChelpware client... but im not sure...

The solution for me was that i was using a website to make my MD5 encryption of the password. This website apparently doesn't encrypt the same way as the PChelpare client which was why it didn't work... I think the problem was that the website wantet a capital A in the first letter where the PChelpware client wanted a small A...

I just made direct connect server and used the same password and then kopied the MD5 encryption from the txt file and used that instead of the website generated key....

The funny thing is i now want to use the GUI from single clikc that works with Phelpware client and now again i get errors in the password... any thoughts on this?
