Version 1.0.6.5 hangs on double Shift-Ins from a VNC viewer

The UltraVNC 1.0.6.5 server running on Windows XP SP3 fully patched hangs when Shift-Ins is pressed rapidly, like when cutting one area (with Shift-Del) and pasting it twice. I have noticed it hanging, but could not figure out a reason until noticing what I was doing today.

It hangs with the RealVNC 1.4.3 viewer as well as the 1.0.6.4 UltraVNC viewer.

The server then does not stop when remotely stopped:

sc \\computername stop uvnc_service

-- the status is "STOPPED PENDING". The only thing I can do if working remotely is to try to restart the computer using another remote computer to regain the original remote connection after restart.
