Old MSLogon

Post by mfo2 »

Hi,

Leaving aside the cool MS Logon II and testing the "old" MSLogon.
What is the meaning of the Group 3 = Read Only ?
I was expecting that if I put someone in this domain Group, when connected to the vnc server he'll have view only right (no click, no keyboard) but it's not what I'm observing.
It does give access but the same type of access as Group 1 and 2.

What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks

Marc

By the way, it works perfectly in MSLogon II, checking only View in the group ACL permits only a viewing of the remote computer (good work Martin).

part of the fixes they implimented in MS logon II was that. The idea was there, however it wasnt really truely working right and thats why they came out with the other MSLogon.

a lot of people had that problem, so its not just you.
