Video hook driver for Windows 7 x64 available?

Post by EdH »

Hi,

I just installed UltraVNC on a spam new Windows 7 installation.

I don't see a video hook driver for this OS.

I used the Vista64 version but I'm not sure if this will create problems.

Thanks for your help.

I'm having the same issue on Win7 64 bits.
Any ideas for solutions?

I get "Driver not active" when I check the video driver status in Win 7. I've rebooted since the install of the driver.

Is there a solution to improve the screen performance with the SC-version (tried with 1.0.8.0) running on an win7 os?
The connection with a viewer on an winXP does start, but the refreshing of the screen sometimes takes half a minute.

you can use vncviewer 1.0.8.2 (fix the aero issue)

anyway, you need the SC updated for vista/7 for better responsive.
UltraVNC 1.0.9.6.1 (built 20110518)
