OneClick:Win8/7/Vista VNC Helpdesk Remote Support System
Re: RemoteZilla: Vista/Win7 VNC Helpdesk Remote Support Soft
Removing posts you don't like doesn't work - the people who are interested in this thread get to see them anyway - and it doesn't enhance your reputation.
The bottom line is that RemoteZilla is a poor product which fails in many of its substantive functions (and I can demonstrate these with ease). It has multiple, serious bugs, and its product quality fails to improve with its constant updates. Advantig have decided to offload it to another company soon, and I am not surprised. The new developers (actually, I wonder - will they be new, or just the same people covering their tracks?) canonly do a better job.

I am, actually. Now, it seems you're beginning to start your nonsense here ... does that mean you're about to post your vile insults publicly?pgmoney wrote:I bet you're loads of fun at a party.
Better still, I suggest you rush through your offloading of the product, so that it might then proceed to an acceptable quality.

Re: RemoteZilla: Vista/Win7 VNC Helpdesk Remote Support Soft
What on earth are you on about? I can't be fired - I don't have any superiors. If you are trying to imply I was 'fired' from your beta testing, then you are living in cloud cuckoo land. I was a beta tester before your product release, and like all other testers you pulled the rug from under, and announced you were employing 'professional' beta testers to finish off the product. Well, that 'professional' testing phase appears to have been pure fantasy, and the product came out of it in an even worse state, with even more major bugs. Shortly after your product 'release' I, as you are only too well aware, refused to carry on being associated with you, your unprofessional, childish and insulting attitude (which you are now displaying in public glory), or your hapless product. If that's what you call being 'fired', then I am proud of it.pgmoney wrote:Are you still upset about being fired? I figured you would be over it by now.
Again, take my advice and try, at least, to show the semblance of some professionalism in public, even if you can't in private. What you are attempting to do here can only discredit yourself.

It does, but not in the way you'd like. I can only assume you are playing out a mental breakdown in public, or you have a self-destructive streak you simply can't control. Either way, it won't do you or your product any good, will it?pgmoney wrote:I guess that answers my question.
Re: RemoteZilla: Vista/Win7 VNC Helpdesk Remote Support Soft
Guys (and gals), could you please leave the private chit-chat where it belongs (in private messages or emails or phone calls) and stick to what this sub-category was created for in the forum? In particular refrain from any ad-hominem remarks. This holds for all involved parties. Point 4. of the rules clearly states:
Apart from that the RemoteZilla FAQ states:
[mod=2,1244278644]Got the private message. I see no reason to close this thread. Everyone please just behave [/mod]
Thanks.Avoid any political statement, because this is meant for technical discussions and also do not post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws.
Apart from that the RemoteZilla FAQ states:
Could the thread owner(s) (I see two potential ones) please enlighten me how it relates to VNC then? PM will just be fine ...DualDesk is not VNC and is not VNC compatible.
RemoteZilla is not fully VNC compliant but is compatible with VNC viewers.

OK, it seems that Advantig have cancelled my RZ licence. Not unexpected behaviour, given your track record, but if you have Advantig, I suggest you reinstate it immediately. If you really believe it is professional, or even remotely acceptable, behaviour to cancel the licences of customers you don't like, you'll be the laughing stock. So fix it.

Re: RemoteZilla: Vista/Win7 VNC Helpdesk Remote Support Soft
Many times when working on a clients PC I will open a program such as Malwarebytes to perform a scan for spyware. Once the program opens I no longer have control of the PC. I can't click on anything on their PC. I can only move the mouse. So, I then have to tell the customer on the phone to close the program so that I can regain control. This has occurred with the last few updates to RemoteZilla.
Re: RemoteZilla: Vista/Win7 VNC Helpdesk Remote Support Soft
v2.1.0.0 -
When a customer runs the .exe file they are presented with a message stating that they are using an Un-licensed version of RemoteZilla.

---------
Changes
---------
Version 2.0.0.0
---------------
- OneClick now uses UVNC server v1.0.6.4 so it is fully Vista/Win7
compatible in service and safe mode but does not run on Win 95/98/ME.
It's fully compatible with existing OneClick Winvnc SC helpdesk.txt
configuration file settings, graphics, icons and options with no changes.
It installs to the Advantig OneClick v2 folder so you can keep the
old 1.x version installed for Windows 95/98/ME compatibility.

hi pgmoney,
i have seen you use ultravnc 1.0.6.4 for last version of oneclick, but like other 3th part software that use this version, it conflict with ultravnc if it is already installed on the pc as service.

http://www.advantig.com/oneclick -or- http://www.vnchelpdesk.com
The one Rudi is working on is targeted for different user needs, it's smaller, runs on 95/98/ME and by design, it doesn't run as a service or boot to safe mode on Win7/Vista, the full winvnc.exe does.
The end OneClick customer module file size with the supplied winvnc.exe using minimal options is about 550k so I might modify the winvnc to be smaller if I get time. OneClick is designed to let people use their own winvnc.exe file so they can modify, cut and hack out as much as they want.
Any winvnc.exe can be used as long as it's named winvncsc.exe and can accept the command line:
-sc_prompt -sc_exit -autoreconnect [IdCode] -connect [Address]::[Port]
For safe mode/service mode it must process the -install command and read service_commandline in the UltraVNC.ini file.

OneClick v2.0 build 200908141700
http://www.advantig.com/oneclick -or- http://www.vnchelpdesk.com
- Fixed text not sent using "Send" Button in UltraVNC winvnc.exe
- The -id switch in the helpdesk.txt can now be left blank to prompt
the user for the ID code even if the [DIRECT] or the [ENTERCODE]
tags are not used. If it's not blank, the number is used to
pre-populate the ID code prompt with a default value.
Example: -id -plugin -connect me.myaddress.com:443 -noregistry
- You can now change the wav file played when chat is opened. If you
prefer no sound, delete the Ding_Dong.wav file in the SC Source
folder or change it to what you like. Deleting the wav file will
make the customer module file size smaller as well. The Timer
uses the same file for the bell so changing the file changes both.
