Using uVNC SC as a remote help desk tool: problems!
I've followed the instructions to create an executable and posted it on my website. All dialogs go according to plan and when I run the executable from another computer (tried both on my network and with a friend's computer) I get a dialog from my uVNC program asking if I want to accept or reject the connection. I click accept, and the remote computer blanks it's wallpaper for a fraction of a second, as if a remote connection is going to be established, but then it stops. I get no remote view window on my main computer. I've determined I have no firewall problems, no ip direction problems; the request is getting through to my main PC. It simply doesn't open a uVNC window. Can anyone give me suggestions as to what is going on?

That is a one of the many problems I ran into trying to use SC.
I've found that using the newer full winvnc server you'll have allot less problems.

I started having this same problem and tried upgrading (just the listening viewer) to the latest version but still having the same problem. I'll try the server part next to see if that resolves problems. I figured it had to do with latest MS updates on XP
