UltraVNC 1.0.5.4 DSM Plugin

Using included DSM Plugin. On the server, I click use, select the DSM Plugin from the drop down, click config. It finds the key, I press OK, then OK again IT seems to recycle itself, but when I Bring the properties up again, the box is unchecked. To be sure, I have restarted the service manually once the change is applied.

PS: Any way to supress the "run as" dialog? I did a quick serach but didn't see anything

The runas dialog is the only way to make sure the settings are saved as the current desktop user. A service run as system and without every user would be able to make changes?

Did you uncheck [_] "don't allow to make changes" in the runas box ?
The default behaviour of runas is checked [v]...

I thought I had installed it as a service (at least that was the option I checked off during install). I have unchecked the box as noted and this did not seem to help

you need to restart UltraVNC Server for DSM Plugin can work.
actual msrc4 1.2.2.0 is not dynamic loaded/unloaded.

Hope would be fixed for final release 1.0.6.0 or higher.

I had done that without it working. I got it to work by enabling it and rebooting the server. When it came back online it was set as it should be Also- unrelated but what does the system hook do? (I had to disable it in order to see the other end of my extended desktop)

system hook, less CPU usage
video hook, less CPU usage than System Hook
new winvnc 1.0.6.0 optimized by Rudi for 20% CPU power usage.
