Hello
I am a french user of SC and i have a trouble with it
When i use "vncviewer - listen" on my master computer, if the release is 1.05 i can accept the connection with the client, but if the release of my viewer is 1.0.5.6 i can't !
The client never connects and after closing SC, the master computer gets the message : Connection failed, error reading protocol.....
I do not use any plugin, and everything is ok with the 1.05 (1.04.914) release.
Is there any known problem with the 1.05.6 release ?
Thank you for your help
Regards
Dan

Which viewer for SC ?
Re: Which viewer for SC ?
Both of them are able to handle SC connection, yet they do have several difference, and one of them is the location of the saved setting, which may cause your trouble.
Your problem may be caused by the 1.0.5.6 listening viewer having the plugin enabled (even you had not done it).
Try if this can solve the problem:
1. Run the 1.0.5.6 viewer in normal mode (i.e. open its GUI)
2. Click the "Delete saved setting" button at the bottom, and then close the viewer.
3. Run the viewer in listening mode, see if it can pick up the connection.
