Connection Failed - Error Reading Protocol Version

Im trying to connect to my uvnc server that's on a box with WINDOWS SERVER 2003 Standard x64 from my laptop with Vista Home Premium x64.

I get the error message:

Connection Failed - Error Reading Protocol Version

Possible causes:
- You've forgotten to select a DSMPlugin and the Server uses a DSMPlugin.

Im actually not using a DSMPlugin on either side. I tried doing so to see if I could get past this error... but it still shows up. I tried connecting to another laptop and it works perfectly fine.. so I guess its a problem with my Server machine. I already disabled the Firewall and configured ports 5800 and 5900 on my router to point to the server.

Any thoughts?

Hi praveen3232, thanks for replying. I seriously do not know what you're talking about, what is sc? Im not using any repeater. Im on a simple LAN and cant get this to work.

I have the same problem with the viewer. I am not using any plugings, nor the repeater, nor SC or anything.
The Java viewer is able to connect fine (though, like I posted elsewhere a few minutes ago, I am unable to interact with the remote desktop at all).

I fixed this problem. I had the wrong port that I used in the viewer. Stupid. I used the Java port.
