In the server log, I see lots of messages like:
.\vncservice.cpp : SelectHDESK to Winlogon (2c) from 204
What does this mean? What is "SelectHDESK"?

windows has several desktops

Vnc can only get/set data to the attached desktop.
The message just indicate that vnc follow the console desktop from default to winlogon.
( only usefull for software debugging)
