How do I not show the server info box (traffic etc).

Post by lama rama »

I have managed to setup a server that 'autoreconnects' each time I reboot (server sits and waits until viewer starts again) but to tidy things up I dont want to show/see the server info box (traffic/Input Locked-Box). Any Ideas.

A possible method is to create a patched version of PcHelpWare.exe that not showing the Info Box windows.

You can do it with Resource Hacker.

Worked it out by removing it with resource hack.

Went into pchelpware.exe in create_server folder with reshack and took out all the commands in Dialog/152/2067 compiled the script and saved it.

Run create.bat in create_server folder and hey presto no server info box.

Done a few other mods as well - I have an autoconnect server in the startup of my desktop and the viewer on my laptop & memory stick.

I can now connect to my desktop anytime I like as long as it is running and I can even restart and reconnect. Dont know if it works in the real world but as i use a repeater i cant see why not. Will test it from my mates house at some point this week to see.
