Is it possible to configure VNC to only accept connections from a certain IP address as well as deny connections from certain address/range of addresses?

That info should be part of the FAQ

And - by default - if you turn on IP filtering - It denys anything not specified.

In other words - if you explicitly allow IP address/ranges it will implicitly deny all other IP addresses / ranges.

i installed vnc on a computer new to the network, but when i try to connect to it it asks me to accept or reject, on the other computers it autoconnects without asking, i use 1.00 rc11d

how do i configure the new computer so others can connect to it without approval of the user on new computer?

try RC19.5 have a lots of fix and new feature can help you !
and you can add feedback too for improve the software before coming V1.00 !

more feedback with correct release better is software stable !
