want to implement two way repeater for viewer and uvnc sc.

Post by meiholjhaveri »

Hello,

I have clients of my software around my city. I have setup of 3 pc in office and I have a laptop with me. I have port fordwarded to my static ip of office and its working with Uvnc SC from internet.

But, if I go home and access same clients it will not work as in uvnc sc my ip is fixed. I want to know that can we setup repeater or some thing which listen viewer and server and match each other.

can we write url instead of ip. so we can implement dnsdojo.org based url forwarding.

Please help me if you can.

regards,

in short, yes, a repeater will do exactly what you want.

you should be able to then just use one connection in your sc which does the connection to you repeater, then with your viewer you can then simply connect to the repeater.

you can test on your lan before deploying.

alternatively, setup an SSH server on your workstation (in office) then when at home, start ssh connection with a remote port tunnel, and your good. sc client needs no modifications, all communications between viewer and workstation is secured & compressed (but not sc to workstation)
