WriteExact: Socket error while writing????????

I am getting this msg box after I conect
"WriteExact: Socket error while writing"
Can someone tell me what this means and how to fix it?

This is a general network error, network broken.

I get the same error when trying to connect to a workstation that is locked.

I used to get this when Fast User Switching was enabled on the server.

I'm new to UltraVNC and I got this error when connecting to XP from XP. I finally got this work by uninstalling the service, installing the XP drivers and then reinstalling the service. From that point I could remotely connect to the machine whether it was locked or not.

Hi Mason,

found out the problem.

In XP if you want to grant access to a PC when its locked, The VNC Server side on the workstation has to be loaded as a service.

Havnt tried on Vista, God only knows if that works.....
