Hi
We have a need to supply an external viewer to connect to our consultants desktops to watch a presentation.
We want to make this as simple as possible for the end user. Simply put if they can download an exe and run it without install, or run in a browser - we are happy. The caveat is it must run as a viewer via a single port (pref Port 80) as the end-users will have a myriad of configurations to deal with and there is no point if they have to punch holes in their own firewalls (support nightmare)!!
What is the best solution for this? From the items I am reading (SingleClick, PCHelpWare, Nat 2 Nat etc.) seem to be geared towards taking control of the customers PC. We want the reverse, but more that the customer can watch, rather than control.
All help appreciated!

Is there a single-click Viewer?
Re: Is there a single-click Viewer?
have you thought of using logmein ??? it offers the "logmein free" which has the ability to connect to a server from a browser, using a link that you can email (but the viewer will need to know your windows username & password to login) ...
this way, you can change the password each time you show someone the demo, it stops them logging in without you knowing.
there is of course security implications to showing/controlling desktops, especially if they are left unattended, but if they are in a DMZ, i see no reason to not let potential clients loose on a hardened system
i have done this for a software/hardware company that wanted a way to show clients the software interacting with hardware, and all the features, without having to travel the world to do it ... we setup a DMZ, and resurected two old PCs, loaded the software, hardened them as much as possible, then made an image, and let them loose ... it worked very well.
hope this helps.
if you still want to use UVNC, i could knock up a viewer (autodialing a certain IP / address) in about 5 minutes, but i would need to know the address and port (PM me if you want this option)
