wrong icon with UltraVNC SC Creator tool

Hi,

i have just created a new version of my UVNC SC and although im having my old icons in the zip file, i get the standard UVNC icon with the new .exe file.

What could be the problem?

But the tool to replace the icon doesn't seems to work on win 2008

Seems to be working

The new creator create a 44k bigger exe, win2008 doesn't like upx and
without upx the result is always a little bigger.
Many viruscheckers also give a false alarm when upx compression is used. Don't gonna look for it, from now sc is a little bigger.

I am also getting the same problem. when i extract my custom.exe file using 7 zip, I am seeing winvnc.exe with Uvnc icon. i want to replace my own icon. is the winvnc.exe giving with the installation is same as the winvnc.exe which is getting in custom.exe extacted ? Please help me

The winvnc.exe inside the custom.exe always using its own icon, but it will not affect the appearance of the created custom.exe, which can use its own icons if you provide your own.

i want to replace my own icon

Then put your own icons into the custom.zip to replace the original embedded icons, where icon1.ico is for the custom.exe and tray icon before connected,
icon2.ico is for tray icon after connected.

I don't quite understand your question.
Maybe you mean the winvnc.exe after you install UltraVNC, another program which its main excutive is also named winvnc.exe.
The two winvnc.exe are separated program, not the same.

Perhaps you think it is necessary to install the UltraVNC to get the VNCviewer. Actully you can just download the viewer alone and make it to work with the created SC.exe.
