[SC/1.0.5.3] Vista server + XP viewer = very slow

Post by fredtheman »

Hello

I used the SingleClick option to create a small, single file server that our customers can just download and connect out to a viewer on our support host here which is waiting for connections with the "/listen" switch.

When the server and the viewer are both running XP, it works fine, but I'm having a problem with a customer who is running Vista : The screen is refreshed something like once every 30 seconds.

[post=55966]This post[/post] mentions changing the viewer form Auto to LAN/Medium, but this option is not available when waiting for connections (Right-click on VNCViewer icon in icon bar > Default connection options), only when dialing out to a remote server.

Has someone seen this issue with Vista/XP when using the SingleClick version, and found a solution?

Thank you.
