I know my way around computers but for the life of me I cannot get sc to work. Over the last year I've have tried 3 times to work with uvnc sc and can never get a connection.
I will admit that I do not fully understand ports and I'm wondering if that is where the problem lies.
I've tried setting up the helpdesk.txt with my lan ip address, public ip address, encryption, no encryption, I've tried all the tips and tricks from the forum and I get nothing.
I have a Linksys WRT54G, dsl modem and XP machines.
I am trying to get a connection from 1 machine to another on my home network. I am angry, stressed and have no idea what to try.
Does anyone know of a tutorial that goes into great detail like for say a 6 year old?
