Does the videohook driver work with SingleClick?

Post by jogz »

Hey all,

I couldn't find the answer to this. I don't see why the driver wouldn't work but I haven't been having any luck with it. When I make a connection and double click on the uVNC icon, it says that the driver isn't available and even includes some gibberish after the text.

The files that should be installed are absent though I'm running the videohook installer and the driver shows up under Device Manager.

Any ideas or is it just a singleclick incompatibility?
You obviously lack the creative genius to integrate Legos and Duplos.

Ok, I know for a fact that it works and it appears it's just not working on computers I'm trying it on now. I'll install the videohook drivers on the administrator account, restart, and then attempt a connection. During the install, the screen will flash black and do its thing. Unfortunately, the vncdrv.dll, vnccom.sys, and vncdrv.sys files aren't populating in the folders they're supposed to show up in.

Any clue? It's working on other systems that I've setup previously.

VNC version is 1.0.5. Single click says Win32 Server SC 20.3. Build Oct 6 2005.

Ah, solved... there's two different drivers to install.
