How to make VNCserver accept incoming connections

I am trying to connect to a desktop from a laptop when away from the desktop, but my current settings require me to accept the connection on the desktop manually. How do I change this?

Which version are you using? Is it set up as a service?

But overall its in the default settings (Admini properties in RC19) and top right (or bottom right) there is checkbox to display query window. Disable this or change the default action to accept after query window goes away (RC19 only).

But since I dont know what version it may be slightly different and if its set up as a service, because that would make a difference in RC18. In RC19 there is only the Admin Properties and it is the catch all for all settings. In RC19 there are default and user properties.

Do this for both the User settings and default settings under
start-programs-ultravnc-vncserver (dont remember the exact name but its something like that)

Under the settings uncheck the poll on incomming query. apply the settings for both the user and default and next time you try to connect it will not "Ask" for the person at the console to say yes or no.

If you want that option on - but you also want to be able to connect after a certain amount of time - change to RC19 and you can set the query window action to timeout to accept or rejecet connections.
