Solved: control host on New Installalation on Vista

Post by Geewiz »

It's the simple things...there's a small check box that will disable viewer inputs that I totally missed under properties. Sometimes lose sight of the forest for the trees!

I have been running UVNC beautifully on several XP machines for some time now. I recently built a new machine running Vista 32bit Home Premium. I've installed the latest server and driver release of UVNC onto Vista. When I access this Vista host from another machine, It logs on fine, shows the host screen fine, but there is absolutely no remote control. Initiating file transfer reports that it is disabled on the host, when it is, in fact, enabled.

I have all the latest video drivers and Vista updates and am at a loss. I've reinstalled UVNC 3 times now...all with the same result.

Any insight or help on this greatly appreciated. I am stymied!
