Set password including service at logon? Connection refused

Sometime UltraVNC versions 1.02 through my current 1.05 do not set/remember a password for the case when no user is logged in. The connection attempts get closed because there is no password set, so VNC closes by default.

This is the case today with one of our Windows 2000 machines, the majority of users are on WinXP.

As domain administrator, I have admin control over each machine, but need a command-line and/or regedit (merge .reg file) way to remotely set the password on all contexts of an installed UltraVNC, especially this no-logged-in-user case.

Any suggestions?

Try VNC first, if it does not work. Try NeoRouter (http://www.neorouter.com), it can help to you to access any computers from anywhere, even cross the Interent. Then you can use VNC or any software over the tunnels it creates for you.
