Remote Desktop from Linux Ubuntu to Windows XP

Hi to all.

Is it possible to give remote assistance from an Ubuntu 8.04 machine to a Windows XP machine?

I've got the Ubuntu machine and I have been trying building that UltraVNC SC (the config.zip etc). I get an exe but when the Windows side executes it nothing happens. My helpdesk.txt is set to make a connection to my wan_ip:vinagre_port (wan_ip is the IP I get from http://whatsmyip.org/).

I can do make/receive remote connection between Ubuntu machines using vino-server and vinagre (that implies already having 5900 port forwarded to my local IP, for example).

Uhm... I've been doing some tests. It seems it works ubuntu-ubuntu but it has got some problems windows-ubuntu and vice versa...

Well I'm connected Windows to Ubuntu...so

the only Problem I have is the keys are not correct


I type w and get . (decimal) I type d and get ( a ) and etc etc....any help
