File transfer stays disabled
File transfer stays disabled
I have the enable file transfer box checked, and yet it refuses to do a file transfer if im on the LAN and outside - any ideas?
What version of UltraVNC are you using? In rc19 one of them the file transfer was not working properly. Same holds true in RC18. Sometimes it works - depending on configuration -
Some basic qs-
Version -
OS's of host/server -
Firewalls on host/server enabled?
SP2 for XP on either? - this has proven to have some complications.
I would merely suggest that you try to do the file transfer locally on your lan, if that doesnt work I dont know why it would work over the Wan or Internet.
Since there are a multitude of ways to troubleshoot this I think this will help us in helping you.
