Mouse pointer stays in the middle of screen

Post by Markus »

I have a problem with the mouse cursor remaining in the middle of the screen of the host PC after closing the viewer.

Even if I move the mouse to a corner it jumps back into the middle right after the viewer disconnects. Server version is 1.0.2. That wouldn't be an issue but the host is used as a display system only, meaning that the pointer is quite annoying and should actually stay in the corner where it has been moved to.

This does not happen on other host computers, most likely running different versions. There the mouse pointer stays where it has been moved to after the client disconnects.

Is there a setting I overlooked or is this a "feature" of 1.0.2?

Thanks in advance, for any anwer.

I have the same problem.

I have to remote admin several machines that display images on large projectors and leaving the mouse in the middle of the screen when closing the client is not acceptable at all.

I'd like some kind of option to keep the mouse at place when client disconnetcs.
