Multiple NICs and Port Forwarding

Post by nobody3 »

I've got a laptop I want to VNC into. It's got wired and wireless interfaces. They'll both be connecting to the same router, but I don't know how it will be used or how the reception is. So, either one, or both, could be available to me.

So, how can I set up port forwarding on the router to handle this? Is it possible? I may just assume that wireless is always available (it will probably end up sitting in one spot in a house for all eternity) and forward to that IP, but I was wondering if there was a better solution.
