Connecting via Java viewer

Post by Ween »

Is it possible to connect via the Java viewer
by link which includes the password?

I have a secure network and I want to create a link (or even "home page") for the dumb user
so he won't even have to enter password.

Something like:
http://xx.xx.xx.xx:5800?password=yy
(like in asp, php).

I know that this option isn't secure but the password is known to all so it doesn't matter.

Yep, you can pass the password as a parameter of a HTML applet container. Will post an example in a few hours....
