Windows Mobile Version supporting Repeater / SSH Tunneling
Windows Mobile Version supporting Repeater / SSH Tunneling
That seems to be the missing feature on PDAs. Since Windows Mobile devices are becomming more and more popular, some sort of access to devices behind a corporate firewall would be great.
Right now our options (that I know of) are:
Original VNC Viewer (No Repeater / SSH Support)
VNC Viewer.NET (No Repeater / SSH Support)
MochaVNC (No Repeater Support) No Plans, I spoke with the devloper and was told good luck finding a product to do this. With SSH, there isn't a way to save preferences per connection.
PVTVNC WM5 (No Repeater / SSH Support)
Thanks!

Re: Windows Mobile Version supporting Repeater / SSH Tunneli
I'd give my right arm to be able to be able to have uvnc with repeater support on my smartphone....
Heck, I'd also give my right arm to be ambidextrous though

Re: Windows Mobile Version supporting Repeater / SSH Tunneli
That's just what I was looking for: SSH port forwarding / tunneling support for my boss's Palm Treo 700w Smartphone with Windows Mobile 5 (ugh). Actually, I think every VNC client (even for desktops) should integrate SSH port forwarding.
Re: Windows Mobile Version supporting Repeater / SSH Tunneli
hi,
I would also like to have a vnc client with repeater support.
No plan for this ?

Re: Windows Mobile Version supporting Repeater / SSH Tunneli
My God YES! Please someone port the viewer even. I'm a one man IT services factory and now that finally have gotten a WM6 phone, uVNC just HAS to live there with association ability to connect to my many clients at the touch of an icon.

VNC2Go works well on mobile devices! Even used it successfully on a [SPAM] 6210!

Hope this helps!

Re: Windows Mobile Version supporting Repeater / SSH Tunneli
Id be super super interested in ultravnc for my winmo phone. Mainly because of support for encryption. I currently run ultravnc server on all my machines, but rely on logmein.com to access one particular machine from operating systems like windows mobile, or where i dont have privelages to install stuff, like on my linux machine at work.
Re: Windows Mobile Version supporting Repeater / SSH Tunneli
I'd pay for this, absolutely.
