Is there a mailing list somewhere? I didn't even know about this Feb 8th update till I was installing on a friends machine.

yes, good point.
but the staff developper of uvnc won't because there thinking about spam blocking.

but Oliver, admin of forum, is ok for make a mailing list for security issue.

no need to subscribe, this the list of e-mail of members ultravnc that only staff of ultravnc admin can see.

We can't use the list...

Sending 10.000+ mails will lock us at the isp.
Several older addresses are not loger valid, this bounce back to your mailbox.

There are good allpurpose security websites with mailing lists and RSS too, like http://secunia.com and few more.....( not handy here at home )
( securityfocus, SANS, .... )
