Video Hook Driver problem (RC19).

Post by Tal.S »

Hi,

I'm using a Windows XP SP1, Ultra@VNC RC19, Video Hook vncdrv.dll 1.00.18, vnccom.SYS 1.0.0.17, vncdrv.SYS 1.00.17, Video Driver "RAGE 128 PRO Ultra GL AGP".

When the Ultra@VNC uses the VHD (Video Hook Driver), the server reboot at logged in (after verifyed the password), there are no problem (except the speed) while not using the VHD.

Driver test report:
* Driver EXIST
* Communication service EXIST
* Driver current not ACTIVE

Please advice :cry:

P.S. before upgrading Ultra@VNC I used RC11, and no problem there .

Thanks,
Tal S.

How did you installed the driver ?

Try to remove and add again

1) Remove the driver: setupdrv uninstall
2) Reboot
3) Check via the device manager if the driver is realy removed,
sometimes the driver is multiple times defined and is not proper removed.

4) Install again: setupdrv install
5) Check if vnchelp.dll has the same data as the file in Ultravnc\driver
