Enhaced Viewer

Post by RainerK »

Is is possible that on creating a profile in viewer an empty password is allowed.
In this case on connection viewer will create a md5 sum on the fly.
The whole purpose is that user must get a password from support. Both
sides use this for one session, unwelcome connections are not possible.
One server ist usable to many contacts.
Thanks.

Yes, you can do that.
When creating such profile (left the password field to be blank), you can save it without a password.

However, when using that profile to create the server, PHW will force to enter a password. No problem...just enter anything you like, the next step PHW will ask you "Does the user need to enter the password?" --- you should select "Yes", and go ahead to create the server.

The created server, when running, will prompt for the client to input a password. At the viewer end, when load with that profile, need to enter the password too (because you just left it blank when creating it).
